We've arrived in Port Angeles!

Ka'sala and crew arrived safe and sound in Port Angeles last night - July 24 at 6:30 pm - making our passage 25 days, 11 hours long over approximately 2800 nautical miles. It was a fabulous trip and the sailing was amazing.  We had no equipment problems, we are all healthy and happy, the weather cooperated and we are finding it hard to believe we are back in the Pacific Northwest.  Mind you, the cold and rain are reminding us pretty quickly!  Thank you all for all your support and thoughts - we heard you!

In a few days I will post the details of our trip.  In the meantime, just thinking I will be back to work this time next month has me more worried than any long passage!

  1. Congratulations Ka'sala! how long are you planing to stay in Port Angeles? Can't wait to hear about your trip. If you decide to stay and rest a few days in Port Angeles, we would like to drive up to the peninsula, camp for weekend and visit you of course!

Maybe, just maybe you could bring some sun with you.

  3. Wow! Congratulations to you both, and welcome back to the Arctic :) Drop in for a visit on your way north, if you have a chance.
